Le me: “Everyone hopes they are.”

Even my kinda-homophobic brother kinda ships Destiel. All is right with the world.

“Tell me.”
“Dean, I do not wish to bore you with—“
“Tell. Me.”
Castiel sighed in resignation and hugged Dean tighter, preparing to tell Dean stories of when he was an angel of the Lord.
“What do you wish to know?”
“Everything.”
“Dean, it would take eons to recount everything I did as an angel. Please be more specific.”
There was silence as Dean mused over what aspect of Cas’s former life he wanted to know about. As the thought, Dean trailed his fingers along Castiel’s arm. Cas concentrated on the motions, and they lay there for so long that Cas forgot what they were originally talking about. Abruptly, Dean’s arm stilled and his voice broke the silence.
“What was your favorite part?”
Cas was slow to answer. “About?”
“About being an angel, Einstein. What was your favorite part about being an angel?”
Now it was Cas’s turn to think, and as he pondered Dean’s question, he moved his fingers over Dean’s arm, copying Dean’s motions from earlier. He was surprised at how hard he had to think. There was so much that he loved about being an angel of the Lord, but even with Dean asking for specifics there was still so much. He thought long and hard. So long that Dean dozed off. When he had organized his thoughts and figured out what he wished to say, he gently shook Dean awake.
Basically I got so tired of stressing that I couldn’t convince myself it’s worth it to study for AP Euro that I gave up and straightened my hair.
I just want to point out that while everyone is freaking out because they don’t know any European history, they’re all making European history references to explain how they feel about AP Euro.
Guys, I think we might do okay.
